Transfer time...I'm staying!

HEY HEY HEY!! It`s Eeeeelder Ovard :) haha. How`s everybody doin?? Well we did have transfer calls and not to much surprise I will be staying here in Morioka with Elder Tillemann-Dick. Yay!! Ha. There really wasn`t a whole lot of transfering going on throughout the mission. I think President may be more of a `stay in your area and work with the people` type of guy. I don`t have too many problems with that considering T.D. Choro and I have got big hopes and plans for the upcoming transfer!

It`s been a little bit of a longer week (obviously not having P-Day till Wednesday doesn`t help out very much), but it is also `Obon` right now, kind of like a Japanese holiday. They spend a lot of time with family and it is like a time for them to worship their ancestors and have their souls come back to them. It is actually quite interesting but kind of but a dent into our work for the week as a lot of our investigators have been busy doing other things!! Those things are coming to a close and I`m confident we`ll soon be back to meeting with our investigators on a regular basis.

T.D. Choro and I have done a lot of thinking and pondering about how we can strengthen the branch here and get our investigators more involved as well. We are really excited about the idea of doing some kind of activity every week. It is going to take a lot of planning and effort to get people there but we are confident it has the potential to `livin` things up around here.

Something interesting we did this past week was- sing. Haha. T.D. Choro has a really good voice and we thought it might be good to use all the resources we`ve got so we packed up an english hymnal and made our way for a nearby underpass. T.D. Choro hopped off the bike, dropped his bags, and let it all out from there. I think I am safe to say he could be heard at every entrance and exit of the underway haha. I wouldn`t necessarily consider it `crying repentance from the roof-tops` but it was pretty dang good :) There were some classic faces as people walked by as well haha.

I will forever be grateful for modern medicine as I finally found something to cure my ringworm. I hope I didn`t surprise you too much but yes, I have had a case of ringworm ha. The first medication didn`t do the job but after talking with a pharmacist who at least had some idea about what was going on I found the right stuff. No more worries! ;)

Thank you all for everything!! I love you so much. Hope all is going well and that you have an awesome half week as we`ll be back on Monday! :)
